Currency Of The Heart by Loree Lough

I really liked this book. It is an easy read and what I would call a gentle story. Nothing to get your nerves in an uproar. The book just plain makes the reader feel good.

The author takes us into the world of deception by introducing us to Shaina Sterling, a wealthy widow who isn't so wealthy anymore but must keep up appearances. When tragedy strikes she is finally able to be herself and face all of her lies and deceptions. This also includes her feelings for one Sloan Remington, a wealthy rancher with a past of his own. How these two learn to trust and be free makes for a beautiful story. While many of those around them can see the truth, they are both oblivious to it and when they finally realize it there is a true freedom.

Loree Lough has done a wonderful job introducing us to the characters in this book, the first in a series called Secrets On Sterling Street. I look forward to finding out what other characters live on Sterling Street!
